About Our Parish

On July 1, 2024, Queen of Apostles Catholic Church was officially established for the pastoral care and service to God on behalf of the people of the West Side of Joliet.

Our community is being formed out of the gifts and talents of four former parishes: Sacred Heart, St. Paul, St. Jude, and St. Patrick.

Queen of Apostles Parish also includes a mission church, St. Joseph in Rockdale, whose sacramental life is cared for by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) which offers the Traditional Latin Mass according to the 1962 Missale Romanum.

In these infant days of our new community, we ask God for strength, for courage, for comfort, and for inspiration. We ask Him to set our hearts ablaze and to remind us that it is He who "makes all things new".

Jesus Christ is our salvation.

As proud Roman Catholics, we are committed to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Scriptures and defended by the Holy Church, visibly united in the Bishop of Rome - the Vicar of Christ.
